But it's a surprisingly common one - lots of people receive quite ghastly gifts from well-meaning relatives or business contacts. The simple message is that you always need to send a thank you note. I recommend you take a look at my wedding thank you sayings pages, which includes examples of thank you note wording for those 'less than desirable' gifts. I hope this helps. Coralie xx
