Here's a post interview thank you note a close colleague recently shared with me.
While my colleague didn't want to be named, she was delighted to share this thank you email, as she has just been offered the exciting new international position she applied for.
I'm thrilled for my colleague and so pleased that she took time out to 'pay it forward' by sharing one of her interview thank you letters here.
This thank you note was sent by email, as the application was for an international role, where the interview had been conducted by telephone, rather than face to face. A traditional thank you letter would have taken more than a week to reach the interviewer and an email was the most appropriate and immediate way to say thank you.
Thank you for taking the time to interview me today. I really appreciate it.
I hope that I answered all of your questions and that I've demonstrated that this is a role I could really succeed in. As we discussed, I believe I have strong skills to bring to the team.
Please let me know if I can provide any further information or evidence to support my application.
I am very excited about the role and would be delighted to have the chance to work with you.
I look forward to hearing from you once you have finalised the selection process.
